Returns + Exchange

Our take on returns + exchange

You've given us love by supporting us, and the least we can do is to make sure you're satisfied with your purchase. In the unfortunate event that you're not, please drop us an e-mail to request an exchange. Exchanges are only available on items of the same style but different size. Should the size be unavailable, exchanges are available on other styles, subject to availability. Any discrepancies in prices will either be refunded by for île or paid for by the customer. 

All exchange requests must be made within 7 days of receiving an order, while fulfilling these conditions:

  • Item is in its original packaging — unworn, unwashed, with all strings (tags) attached.
  • Item is in saleable condition — free of scents and makeup stains.
  • Item was not purchased on sale or using a promotional code. 
  • All return shipping costs incurred are fully borne by the customer. We highly encourage you to go with a registered shipping option as lost parcels are not eligible for an exchange.
    • P.S. good news is, for île will ship your exchanged item to you for free.

We retain the right to reject an exchange request should any of these conditions be faulted. 

Returning your purchase

Agreeable to these conditions? Let's get you started on your return. 

1. Drop an e-mail to wave@for-ile.com with header 'RETURN: (order number)'

2. Let us know:

    • Your name
    • Item you're returning
    • Reason for return
    • Name and size of item you'd like to receive in exchange

3.  We'll review your return request and revert with the address to send your return parcel to.

In case of faulty item

We do our best to maintain the best possible quality and we are so sorry if your item happened to slip through the cracks. Here's what you can do:

1. Immediately drop us a note at wave@for-ile.com with header 'FAULTY ITEM: (order number). Please do so within 3 days of receiving your item.

2. Describe the fault and include pictures if you can.

3. We'll do an initial round of review and if the item is initially deemed faulty by part of for île, we will revert with the address you can send the item to. 

4. Once we have received the returned item, we will determine whether the cause of fault is the responsibility of for île. Do note that we reserve the right to repair or replace the faulty item. However, should the item be faulty beyond repair and unavailable to be replaced, a full refund will be issued. Please allow up to 3 working days for the refund to be processed.

Refund

Refunds are only issued in the case where an item is faulty beyond repair and unavailable to be replaced. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds on items for other reasons — at least not yet.
